2005 Saab 9-3 Aero Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Saab 9-3 Aero with just 122k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Saab to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. She is finished in smoke beige over two tone interior. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines are straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the body cladding and trim are present and show well. The headlights show some normal hazing. The alloy wheels are original and show their age. Tire tread is average all around. Please take the time to check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Saab 9-3 Aero to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets show well for their age throughout the interior. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It's too cold to tell whether or not the air conditioner is working properly, but I can tell you that the heater is working properly. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Saab appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine does smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. As with most older Saab's, you can feel a slight bit of bushing wear over rough surfaces...but nothing awful. You can hear a slight whining noise coming from one of the pullies that should be looked at in the near future, but it doesn't seem to be immediately important. The turbo spools up quickly and makes good power. The check engine light is on. The code present is P1312 and P0340. Under load, you can feel it misfire. This is also common with these cars and she's probably due for plugs, coil packs, etc. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight. If you're looking for a low mileage Aero, this 122k mile example deserves your consideration. She'll need some routine service, but I don't see anything major. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
