2008 Saab 9-3 Aero Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2008 Saab 9-3 Aero with just 102k miles. As you can see, this is a gorgeous Saab. She is finished in Fusion Blue Metallic over Parchment sport leather interior, which is a gorgeous color combination. The blue finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, the only thing worth noting on the exterior is a scrape mark on the front lower lip spoiler...which is pretty common with these cars as the front ends sit really low. There is a scratch on the back door, but I'm just being picky. You should expect these things when you are looking at an older vehicle. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the body trim and cladding is present and shows well. The factory alloy wheels look good and are wrapped in a nearly new set of rubber all around. Pride in ownership shows throughout this 9-3 Aero. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this 9-3 Aero to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The Parchment interior looks gorgeous against the Fusion Blue exterior. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets show well throughout the interior. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The deeply bolstered leather sport seats are unique to the Aero package. The seats are supple, supportive and comfortable. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all appear to be working properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and I believe the air conditioner is also working properly. The trunk is spacious and clean, too. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Saab. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how clean this 9-3 Aero came in. Mechanically, this Saab appears to be in good running and driving condition. The turbocharged 2.8L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The sport tuned suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and makes good power. This is a seriously quick car. The turbo spools up quickly and really lays on the power strongly. If you're not careful, this car can get you into trouble. The check engine light is on for a coolant temp sensor error. There have been no other idiot lights on. The six speed automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. There is an occasional vibration in the steering at highway speeds. It may just be the soft compound of the tires from having the car sit for a while between drives or an out of balance wheel...but I don't suspect anything major. This car has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of August, 2017. I've owned this car since just before Thanksgiving, so the inspection was relatively new when I purchased this car. Late Saab Aero's are pretty hard to find. If you've been looking for a good one, this '08 finished in Fusion Blue deserves your serious consideration. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
