2012 Lexus LFA 2dr Cpe Description

This LFA is a beautiful car from the local So Cal area. The paint is a black metallic (Caviar Black) with a saddle interior and loads of carbon fiber everywhere. The exterior sides have a flat metallic vinyl wrap on it which creates a very nice subtle 2 tone effect. This car has been very well treated and is very very rare being only 1 of 500 ever made. (#465) The Lexus LFA features a even firing V10 engine and a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) body. CFRP materials account for 65 percent of the LFA's body composition by mass. The LFA went into production in late 2010 making it one of the most expensive Japanese road cars ever built Production ended in December 2012 with 500 vehicles completed. The Lexus LFA is powered by a 72-degree bank angle 4.8-liter V10 engine equipped with dual VVT-i carrying the 1LR-GUE designation with a maximum output of 412 kW (560 PS) delivered at 8700 rpm. Its maximum torque output of 480 N·m (354 lb·ft) arrives at 6800 rpm 90 percent of which is available from 3700 rpm. The engine redlines at 9000 rpm but with a fuel cutoff set at 9500 rpm53 #fn53 and is constructed using forged aluminum pistons forged titanium connecting rods and solid titanium valves. The gearbox built by Aisin is a six-speed automated sequential gearbox (electrohydraulic transmission) operated with paddle-shifters. The Lexus LFA's frame is made from an in-house designed and manufactured carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) center monocoque with aluminum front and rear subframes. The subframes which can be removed and replaced minimizing potential repair costs are joined to the monocoque using a newly developed aluminum flanged collar designed to create a stronger joint.[ Insideline recorded a 0â€"97 km/h (0â€"60 mph) in 3.9 seconds without launch control system and achieved the 1/4 mile 11.6 seconds at 200 km/h (124 mph).
