1959 Jaguar Other Description

Wow! This is a 1959 Jaguar MkII with left hand drive, automatic transmission, and the desirable 3.8L 6 cyl. engine. Great project car! I know little about restoring old vehicles, but this one seems to be in good shape. I took a lot of pictures to help you decide. Car is solid, no rust holes, everything looks to be there. Rolls great on 4 brand new tires and tubes. All glass looks good. I will try to answer any questions as best I can. Sold AS-IS for PARTS, no title. Item is listed for sale locally as well. I'm open to offers. I removed the six spark plugs and poured in a small quantity of Marvel Mystery Oil into each cylinder. The spark plugs removed easily. You should assume the engine is seized.
You are welcome to inspect in person prior to purchase. I also have the ability to set up an appointment toFaceTime with you if desired.
Payment & Shipping. $500 deposit within 3-days. Car needs to be picked up and paid in full within 7-days of auction close. I will provide buyer with a receipt of sale with my name and address.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q:Do you have interior pictures please?
A:There are over 70 pictures in the link http://s132.photobucket.com/user/davisef/library/1959%20Jaguar%20MkII?sort=2&page=1
Q:Hello, I see on the licence that the car is from Ontario Canada, do you know if it was declare for importation at the customs or it cross the border with it's owner and was left unknown in the states? Do you have an historic? Do you know the owner(s) before you?
A:The car was sold with a house. It was in the garage. It had Ontario plates on it when I found it. According to what the family members of the estate who sold the house stated, the owner was their father, a wealthy businessman in Detroit. He passed away decades ago. His wife lived in the house until her recent passing, the car having set idle for all of that time. Apparently they weren't a close family because there wasn't much more information than that.
Q:H, just have a questio, can you get a title for the car ? more diffecult to export otherwise.
A:I really don't have the time to go through the process of getting a title. I can assist you, but really need to sell as a parts car.
Q:Hi, could you tell me if the engine is still good. Is it seized?
A:Although I don't have the tools or know-how to prove either way, you should assume that the engine has seized.
Q:Can you sent some pictures from inside and under hood Is the original I.D tag still under the hood?
A:Use this link for 70 high-res pictures, including the interior: http://s132.photobucket.com/user/davisef/1959%20Jaguar%20MkII/story ID tag is under the hood and readable in the pictures.
