1992 GMC Typhoon Description

Up for sale is a 1992 GMC Typhoon with only 33,000 original miles. It is finished in the most popular color of Black and complimented with a black interior. This is an exceptional example of a well cared for and unmolested Typhoon. They are getting harder and harder to find in this condition. I have been collecting/buying/selling Syclones and Typhoons for 18 years and have had the privilege of owning the rarest and lowest mileage Sy/Ty's in the world.
This is certainly one of the nicest examples I have come across and is about as original and untouched as they come. I acquired it out of a private collection where it has been sitting for the last 10 years in a warehouse. I had it fully serviced immediately and had to replace the battery, fuel pump, heater core, spark plugs, ignition wires and fuel filter. This Typhoon runs and drives exactly like it did back in 1992 and is totally stock and unmodified.

The paint and body on this truck is in very, very nice condition for a black 25 year old General Motors product. I went around it with a digital paint meter and the entire truck is original paint with the exception of the right door only. I would not be able to tell it has been refinished without the paint gauge and was not blended into the original paint on the fender or quarter panel. There are a few small stone chips on the hood and a small paint burn on the edge of the top right side fender edge which is a very common spot. No signs of rust and the undercarriage is clean. The interior is also in excellent shape and original with the exception of the radio which has been updated.
This is definitely an investment grade Typhoon and they are only original once. The market has been steadily rising on these trucks and will continue to rise as they age. Do not snooze on this Typhoon if you have ben look for an exceptional example of one!!
