1997 GMC Sierra 3500 SLE Crew Cab Description

Up for sale is a 1997 GMC Sierra 4x4 6.5 diesel dually truck registered/Title in Florida but stored during the winter in Columbus Indiana 47202
I am a Engine Development Engineer and truck enthusiast.
I bought this Truck from Arizona because I do not like rust, so there is NO RUST on it.
The shape is like you can see on the pictures. This is a good work truck.
This truck is not a new truck.
The truck has been very reliable for me as these older trucks are famous for.
The truck rides very nice on the road with around 300000 miles on the meter.
I think the engine is changed or rebuild because it has gaskets between the exhaust manifolds and the cylinder head. GM DID NOT PUT GASKETS HERE.The engine also runs very nice.
I love this truck but I sell the Truck just because I do not need it anymore.

I have had a VERY SERIOUS COMPANY to fully restore the 4L80E transmission. They have not just installed a rebuild kit that have changes all worn parts including the drums, bearings, bushings and more.
The converter is a NEW one.
They have taken of the covers on the axles and cleaned the inside. Resealed it and put in new oil.
They have flushed the axles and gearbox to clean it inside. Resealed and put in new oil.USD 3200
An company has checked the front end. They changed all worn parts and did a four wheel alignment.
All 6pcs of ties are brand new.USD 1700
New windshield.USD 200
The truck has a brand new stereo and speakers installed by Geek Squad / Best BuyUSD 500
The alternator is brand new.250The AC with filter and coupling is brand new.USD 400
The truck has a brand new B&W Turnover Gooseneck hitch installed.USD 1000
I have changed all oils and filters 2 times under the last 2000 miles to clean op the engine and transmission parts.USD 500

CONCLUSION!I have spent USD restoring this truck during 2015/2016.
This GMC Truck has NO RUST. It has worked very good for me and been very reliable.
