1992 GMC Vandura g1500 Description

Up for auction is my 1992 GMC Vandura 1500 shorty van. It has a 5.0 V8, Automatic, Tilt, Cruise, A/C, This van was purchased from the State of Montana in December 2014. The Montana State Patrolused these as commercial truck enforcement vehicles. I flew to Seattle in January 2015. My daughter in-law and I rented an SUV and headed towards Helena. Lots of snow and cold. Got to Helena late morning the next day. I think about a foot of snow on the van. Paid for it and headed for the Seattle area.Drove through lots of snow, but the worst was the freezing fog west of Spokane. The trip was 6 or 7 hundred miles to Snohomish, WA. Left the van at my son-in laws to look over. He is a mechanic and has a retail shop. I got some maintenance records with the van, but not for 20+ years. Had him change fluids engine, transmission and rear end. New headlights, wipers, install a new CD player with remote. Repair blinkers. Engine didn't need anything. I flew home and went back up to get the van a couple months later when the snow was done. Drove the van 1600 miles to my home in Mesa, AZ. The van passed emissions and was licensed and titled in my name. It has never failed to start. The van runs cool, never overheats. All the lights work. The heat works good. Air-conditioning does not blow cold.I am 70 years old. I did van interiors back in the late 70's as a second income. I have always had at least one van I think through the years. This is one of the best original vans I have owned. It runs and drives great, no play in the steering and it rides smoothly. All the factory gauges work properly. The power steering works as it should. Brakes work good. They don't pull. Sliding door opens and closes with ease. No dent in the door from having to help it close. All doors open, close and lock as they should. All the glass is good. No power windows. Paint is really nice. I don't see where it has had any body work. There are no dents. I don't even see a door ding. The van is straight. There is a chip in the paint, center of the hood. The van has a 20+ year old interior in it. What's nice about that is you have a pattern so you can easily replace the interior to how you want it. It has not ever been damp or moldy inside so there are no gross odors. Matching set of "Cooper Discover LT235/75/15 tires. They have less than 6K miles on them. Nicely balanced, no vibrations at 70. You really can fly in to Phoenix and drive this van home. I will be happy to pick you up at the airport.I had another black and white shortyvan that I purchasedfrom the State of Montana that I sold in 2010.I sold it to a really nice guy from PA. that flew in with his buddy and they drove it home to PA.in 2 days. He sent me photos of what he did to the van. I uploaded a couple to give you some ideas.<>THE LAST TWO PHOTOS ARE NOT OF THE VAN FORSALE<>THEY ARE OF THE VAN SOLD IN 2010<>I look at vans all the time everywhere. This van is in amazing shape for 24 years old.I know I will regret selling this van. But like I said, I'm 70 years old and have 2 vans. Do I need 2 vans? NO! Now for the bla bla: This van is being sold AS-IS. WHERE-IS. There isNO warranty implied or expressed.I reserve the right to end the auction at any time for any reason. The reserve is a very fairfor you and for me. I have bought many vehicles on line without seeing them. Something I would have never done before the internet. Its no fun being disappointed. Fly in and look at it. I honestly can't imagine someonenot buyingthis vanif you are looking for a shorty van. Questions....ASK.... My dad always said "He who hesitates is lost". You can reach me on my cell 509 304 7277.
