Spirit of 76, Bonanza, rare, unmolested, original, bicentennial

1976 Chevrolet Other Pickups Cheyenne, Spirit of 76, Scottsdale Description

I am selling a very rare Bicentennial, Spirit of 76, Chevy Bonanza.Only 10 special edition Bonanzas were assembled and only 500 Spirit of 76 trucks came off the assembly line.When was the last time you could say you had an opportunity to own a 1 of 10 vehicle, especially a Chevy?There is a high propensity that this is the only Spirit of 76 Special Edition survivor in existence.I have searched for Bicentennial Chevys for the last ten years and have only seen six of the 500 advertised and only one other was the Special Edition, but it had rust issues.The previous owner gave me documentation and I found an online add for this vehicle (Philadelphia Chevy Dealer/stored in 1976 Microfiche). There was also an online article written about this vehicle, but eBay doesn't allow hyperlinks anymore. I could send this link to you upon request. Fair warning, you will not be able to replace the interior because it is so rare, but the good news is it doesn’t need replacement. This vehicle has the original Spirit of 76’ paint job, 99% rust free, strong 350 V8 engine, automatic tranny, 4X4 works perfect, drives straight, no blue smoke, no cracks in dash, all gauges work, all electrical works, straight chrome lines, the official Spirit of 76 badging, the Scotsdale interior package, colored-keyed carpets, deluxe vinyl bench seat, short bed, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, not the original radio (the dash is not cut, so it can be fixed!) I do not know when the pushbar or the bedliner were added. This is a two owner car. I bought it from a retired veteran and he sold it to me because I am currently in the military. I have a clean/clear title registered in my name. It is unmolested besides the radio, and the bedliner (I am unsure if the Special Edition came with the pushbar or not, it was not on the options sheet, so I assume it was added aftermarket).

The Spirit of 76 is stored in my 3 car, climate controlled garage and hasn’t seen a drop of rain/water since I have owned it.I only detail it with DRI Wash.I drive it less than 50 miles a yearto get the fluids through the truck, but you can’t take it too far in fear of a rock chip or rain shower.

This is more than likely the only Spirit of 76 Special Edition on the market, but I ask anyone who has pictures or experience with them to send me an email so I can share with the group.
