1982 Chevrolet Suburban Description

1982 Suburban registered as a diesel so its smog exempt in california.
If built today from a donor vehicle it would cost over $50,000 to get it into this condition.
up for sale is a custom built 1982 chevy suburban repowered with a 6bt cummins engine. this was done right from the ground up, new 6bt industrial crate engine, new custom built transmission and new overdrive controller installed when repowered. Has new a/c compressor and blows ice cold. has tons of power and cruise control works great as well. Features: Alpine Top of the line bluetooth stereo with HD Radio, Brand New A/C system that blows super cold, alarm system with remote keyless entry. Comes with 2 sets of keys and 2 working alarm remotes. Has the more reliable 1st gen cummins installed and we just put in a brand new Optima Yellow Top battery. With the overdrive controller you can drive 75mph on the freeway and get mileage in the 20-25mpg range! This has a 42 Gallon Fuel Tank and with the great mileage it last for a very long time. This also features a 9 gallon second tank with a very nice fill pipe located above the rear driver side tire in the wheel well. It has a coolant heat system for the 42 gallon tank so you can use biodiesel or SVO if desired. The heat system has valves that can bypass the heat so you can run diesel in both tanks if desired so you will have a 51 gallon capacity and even more range. We just recently spent $4500 to rebuilt all suspension so it rides like new and has brand new top of the line firestone tires and really nice looking wheels. We also just had it painted last year one solid color since we did not like the 2 tones look from the 80's.. We put on all new chrome all around the body when we painted it. We went with the factory color so the interior and under the hood match perfectly. I get compliments all the time on this vehicle, it is one of the cleanest Suburbans on the road and with the Cummins Engine in it is will run for many many years.
The interior is very clean and the seats all still look new. I have the rear 3rd row seat also for the vehicle but I loved using the Suburban with it removed and I put a nice carpet down on the floor to protect the original carpet of the vehicle. I put in new brakes and a new master cylinder when I did the suspension. We have a ton of money invested into this truck and really hate to see it go. This truck can run from here to New York and Back no problem at all and is super reliable. We replaced all the rubber throughout the truck on all doors and windows so it is nice and quite inside and no outside air flows into the truck while driving. So many other things to mention but just give a email with any questions.
Thank you. Things done to it recently: New Exhaust from front to back, All new Door Seals and Window Seals, Alpine with HD Radio, New Shocks, New Suspension, New Tires, New Battery, Brand New AC Compressor and Hoses, much more... I invested into this thinking I would never sell it since it is bulletproof.
plenty of gauges to monitor the entire system. also has a dual tank system if you want to run biodiesel or other alternative fuels.Im running Diesel in one tank and Vegetable oil in the other. over 40k invested in this vehicle.
