1988 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 Description

All original survivor with just over 76K miles.
  • The convertible top is new and it goes up and down with a push of a button.
  • The interior is without rips or cracks with only minimal fade.
  • The exterior is in great shape and all original with no perceivable past body work.
  • Mechanically, the car is extremely sound. It starts right up and does not leak or burn any oil.
  • The tires are new and the vehicle drives straight and true with no noticeable pull or vibration.
  • The power windows and door locks work as they should, and the heat and AC systems work very well.
  • The transmission shifts smooth and the car moves out confidently without pause.
  • The exhaust note is beautiful and sounds healthy, athletic yet humble.
  • This car is a real joy to drive. There is no rust anywhere on this car. It is a TRUE SURVIVOR from the era. This is really a very cool car.

The flaws:The drivers side rear view mirror is fine and in tact, but the mounting plate needs to be straightened or replaced. It works as is.The passenger side door panel and rear quarter panel has some dings, and one small dent on the lower half of the door. It is not terribly noticeable, but if I were to keep this car, I would fix this side and make the car exceptional. There are a few blemishes in the paint here and there caused by age and use, but nothing out of the ordinary for a survivor of this vintage. I can send more detailed photos if you are serious and want to see EVERYTHING.
This car also has the original radio and speakers. It works, but is a bit temperamental and makes some static when adjusting the volume.
I am selling this car because I do not have room in my garage, and I do not want to see it deteriorate in my driveway. This car is a survivor, not a restoration. There are limited blemishes, but it is very nice for the age. I am not the original owner. I believe I am the third owner. I have only had the car just shy of one year.
