Recent professional carb rebuild, new starter & solenoid, new muffler, recent brakes, new DieHard battery and all new white wall tires. This car was local and has no rust. We do not salt roads here in the northwest and get amazing survivors such as this one family owned Electra 225 that was kept inside a heated garage. The original aunt & uncle owners had no children, and back seat was rarely sat in. It was hardly driven the last 15 years. It has been freshened up and sports a recent, almost flawless, show quality first new re-paint, 2 stage with clear coat. This was an extremely straight and rust free car to start with. This is a rare and once in a life time opportunity to get the top of the line Buick luxury sport 2 dr hardtop powered by the first Wildcat 445 V8… in a rare color… deep metallic quality new paint.

This car is amazingly smooth and quiet on the road, with a ton of power. It burns no oil, and has no leaks, runs smooth and shifts fine. A rare example ready for show or weekend fun!

1962 Buick Electra 225

GM’s top line Buick made for sports luxury to compete with the Cadillac line. The big Buick of 1962 carried four VentiPorts per front fender and featured a rakish sculptured restyle of its 1961 guise. The hardtop sport coupe featured a convertible inspired semi-formal roofline. Electra 225 rear fenders had a group of vertical hashmarks, with Electra 225 spelled out in block letters just above. A full length bright strip crowned the upper body ridge, while the tower rocker molding and wheelhouses were accented with bright trim. Wheelcovers had a gold accent ring. Interiors were of the finest cloth and vinyl. Standard features included directional signals, full-flow oil filter, dual speed electric windshield washer/wipers, Deluxe steering wheel, cigar lighter, Step-on parking brake, dual armrests, Turbine-Drive transmission, padded dashboard, heater, defroster, glovebox light, back-up lights, power steering, Glare-proof rearview mirror, power brakes, power brake signal light, safety buzzer, courtesy lights, two-way power seats, Super Deluxe wheelcovers, Safety option group, custom padded cushions, Accessory Group options and custom moldings. Only the Electra got the new Wildcat 445 V8 as standard with the 4 barrel, sporting 325 horse-power and 445 lbs of torque!

This rare color option 2-Dr Sport Coupe also has the factory tinted window option… and remote vacuum trunk opener in the glovebox. It sports the full 325 HP 401/445 Buick “nail-head” WILDCAT 4v-V8 & Turbine Drive 3-Speed AT transmission.
